A factory for the production of electrical equipment has been opened in Almaty
On November 23, 2023, the Kazakh-Malaysian plant for the production of electrical equipment and power distribution systems was opened in the special economic zone “Park of Innovative Technologies”.
The investment project is being implemented by OSB Kazakhstan, the Central Asian representative office of a Malaysian company that has been an active player in the market of oil and gas and electrical products since 1976. The innovative technology of the low-voltage RAWAK SMART system will be used in the production process.
A land plot of 0.6 hectares has been allocated for the implementation of the project. The cost of the project is 980 million tenge with the creation of 15 jobs. Production facilities are designed to produce about 2 thousand units of products per year.
The opening ceremony was attended by Ramazan A., Chairman of the Board of Almaty Business Development Company, and expressed his willingness to support the development of Kazakh-Malaysian relations.
